Situation
Sharks, skates and rays are the second most threatened group of vertebrates on the planet, with 1/3 threatened with extinction! One part of solving the problem is through education and an increase in engagement with shark conservation.
Solution
The Shark Trust works globally to tackle the threats that sharks, skates and rays face! Through our Community Engagement Programme, we can increase the public knowledge of sharks and the threats that they face, and build a community that can get involved in shark conservation! This will provide communities and equip future generations with the tools and knowledge they need to make positive change for sharks!
