We are raising £20k to connect our community with urban wildlife through engaging, hands-on activities and youth-led eco-events. Celebrate our farm’s 25th anniversary by helping us inspire action, protect biodiversity and transform green spaces, cultivating eco-skills and a love for the environment.

Urban wildlife is in crisis, with UK butterfly numbers at an all-time low and hedgehog populations down 30%. Pollution, invasive plants, and neglected spaces like Cadle Heath worsen the issue. Young people lack environmental skills and knowledge, with 83% unable to identify a bumblebee (Bath Uni). Revitalising a local green space together will restore habitats, empower communities, and boost young people's skills and wellbeing, while creating pathways to green careers and environmental action.

Engaging families, young people, and community groups, we’ll deliver activities like hedgehog workshops, pond management, and wildlife monitoring at the Farm and Cadle Heath to tackle invasives and green urban spaces. Youth volunteers will lead eco-events, gaining skills, confidence, and rewards. "Wildlife at Home" packs will inspire action beyond these spaces, helping protect biodiversity, connect with nature, and prepare young people for green careers while improving wellbeing and resilience.
