Climate change and habitat loss are threatening 1 in 6 UK species with extinction - but small actions on green spaces can have a big impact. If gardens and community green spaces are managed in a nature-friendly way, the positive impact for wildlife extends far beyond the garden fence. We need to act now to empower and resource local people and communities to take action for nature on their doorstep, tackling community isolation and speeding nature's recovery across our region.
Solution
We want to create a future where everyone’s inspired to bring back wildlife in their local areas. We provide training, facilitate peer group support and offer ecological advice so that local people have the tools, skills and networks they need to help nature thrive. With your help, our team will be able to reach more communities and support them to take action for nature in every postcode across our region.
