Chronic systemic challenges and intergenerational trauma profoundly impacts children’s development. Increasing numbers of children enter primary education without the ability to verbally communicate thoughts/feelings/needs, lacking self-agency in everyday self-care skills and unable to sustain positive relationships with adults and peers. Challenging behaviour, disengagement, exclusions and mental health emergencies ensue, and the cycles continue.

By providing specialist multi-disciplinary support, we help children reach developmental milestones, enabling them to realise their potential. Our work addresses the wide range of complex needs arising from adversity, poverty and neglect, including reducing the impact of trauma and barriers to learning and participation. We support teachers, parents and carers’ to create safe, warm and responsive environments that improve children’s confidence, wellbeing and resilience.
