For 25 years Leeds Baroque has been brining live, period instrument performances of 17th and 18th century repertoire to Leeds and the surrounding area. Under the direction of Peter Holman MBE it has provided performance opportunities to young professionals, established artists and talented amateurs.

Situation
Like many arts organisations we have to meet increasing running costs. Whilst all our management and administration is done by an energetic team of volunteers we still incur costs of venue hire, the fees for our professional colleagues, instrument and score hire etc. Our access to Grant Funding from other sources is limited. If we are to maintain the standards set over the last 25 years – we need financial help.
Solution
We are working hard to build our audience numbers with an expanded social media presence and a new website. We are fortunate to be supported by Friends of Baroque Music in Yorkshire with mosdest grants towards specific projects.
