We currently work across these settings separately, but would love to grow our service to run joint workshops for SEND and mainstream to come together and unite through the power of music

Situation
Our mission is to create a more inclusive society, celebrating difference and inspiring community connection. We empower learning disabled and neurodivergent people, of all abilities, fostering confidence, skills, and leadership potential. Our Ground-Breaking Education Programme is delivered using music and reaches over 40,000 children across mainstream and SEND each year. It's reducing prejudice and building truly inclusive cultures across schools and communities where everyone is valued.
Solution
Equality, diversity and inclusion is a complex topic and the Electric Umbrella Education programme is delivered as high impact music workshops that seek to inspire great citizenship. Co-led with our Electric Umbrella musicians and Learning Disabled members, and always delivered with a quality first teaching it has been designed to provide teachers with resources and support to enable meaningful conversations that will impact the entire school community and the culture of the school.
