Fallen Angels was founded by Paul Bayes Kitcher, an ex-pro ballet dancer who overcame addiction through his deep love of art. Since 2009, he has worked exclusively with people in recovery – helping them to unlock their artistry, whilst creating powerful theatre that has been featured by The Times, Royal Opera House & The Lowry. Addiction and mental illness are closely tied to economic hardship, especially in NW England, where deprived areas see higher addiction rates and lower arts engagement.

We offer weekly movement workshops across Cheshire & Merseyside, where anybody in recovery can explore Dance Theatre in an inclusive, supportive space - no experience required. Our workshops offer pathways to volunteering, accredited training – and artistic career development through professional stage shows such as Blind Spot. Through this we increase arts access in deprived communities whilst helping to inspire others in recovery to explore arts and culture and discover their creative selves.
