In the last 10 years, our large-scale puppetry projects have helped over 4000 children build confidence and resilience as they exceed everyone's expectations of what they can do. We want to make sure we can continue running the puppet project for at least another decade with thousands more children!

Mental health challenges among children at primary school are at an all-time high, particularly among children facing extra challenges and disadvantages in their lives. These children need help building their confidence, resilience and ability to work with others positively, as well as help engaging with education. Without that help, they risk falling behind for life, missing out on fulfilling their potential.

Through our puppetry projects, disadvantaged children aged 9-11 develop creative and life skills which help them thrive despite the challenges they face. The children work together to create a complex marionette show from scratch, taking ownership of the production at every stage. While building puppets and sets, they also build concentration and teamwork skills and gain independence, self-confidence and resilience. They learn that they can achieve more than even they thought possible.
