We are in an arts crisis. With artistic subjects and teachers being reduced in schools, spiking event and touring costs, cultural venues from grassroots music venues to libraries at risk, impacting young creatives' careers and disconnecting communities. Without cultural venues that invest in young emerging artists, there will be nowhere for artists to launch their careers, for new art to be created, and for it to be seen by new audiences. The LIC wants to be part of the solution.

The LIC exists to empower and enrich lives through Irish community and culture. We deliver a multidisciplinary Cultural programme and advice services, meaning we are uniquely placed to engage with the people who need it the most. We offer free spaces for creatives, showcase nights, and connect industry professionals and creatives, as well as offering paid opportunities to reach new audiences. We are deeply rooted in the community and have access to a multi-generational audience.
