We solve 3 problems with this project by providing access to the study of ancient Greek and Classical myth (not widely available to young people in State schools) but also providing access to learning and tech equipment to those less privileged via our coding workshops with Coder Dojo Mentors. Additionally our workshops prioritise young people with special educational needs (SEND) who can often be overlooked in terms of time and access to specialist areas such as what we are offering.

We will provide bespoke storytelling/coding workshops with specialist educators that invite young people from poorer economic backgrounds and those with SEND needs to participate. The project is in collaboration with Coder Dojo who will provide Coding Mentors that deliver training on use of Scratch, a coding programme whilst we will provide tailormade workshops exploring key Greek myths that inspire and provoke the coding journeys.
