Situation
There is an anxiety in the country - as people tell us - that our founder has not seen since the 1970s: financial, political, war, even assisted dying; as one person said "the horrendous 24 hour news cycle".
Solution
An unconventional staged production of Handel’s Messiah: 12 everyday recognisable characters, initially suspicious of each other & in some pain, come together through the hope engendered by singing the Messiah. This production has thrilled audiences since 2011. Audiences tell us: 'The most joyful, most vivacious & most uplifting Messiah I have ever heard'. 'Moved me to tears'. 'No way am I religious, but this evening gave me a hope & calmness that I have not had for years'.
