The UK has a real opportunity to take bold action on climate change. But progress is still not keeping pace with public support for climate action. We already have the answers. We know we need to use renewable energy, insulate our homes and travel in more climate-friendly ways. But we need the government to be brave and act fast, to speed up progress towards a cleaner, fairer future.

Evidence from the Climate Change Committee, the government’s advisory body on climate change, demonstrates that 60% of the emissions reductions needed to reach net zero will involve action from the public. Possible shows decision makers that the public is on the side of ambitious climate action, and demonstrates that we can drive forward emissions reductions by making the most climate​–​​friendly behaviours the cheapest, most convenient and most desirable behaviours.
