The UK government's current policies and Net Zero Strategy are not sufficient to meet its legally binding targets to cut carbon emissions. To get there, we believe we must embrace renewable energy, electric transportation, carbon pricing policies and phase out domestic fossil fuel extraction. Our politicians urgently need to be convinced of the diverse groundswell of public support for systemic, policy-driven action.

Protect Our Winters UK works to unite the millions of people that access the outdoors each week, creating community from a shared responsibility to protect the places we love. We inspire, educate and equip outdoor people and businesses so we can affect greater change. We coordinate the outdoor community's response to the climate crisis, forming a diverse, cohesive, powerful voice that challenges politicians and influences policy and corporate strategy on climate change.
