Everyone deserves to experience their own special place in nature. Yet, the UK is one of the most nature-depleted countries in the world and 1 in 3 people can’t access good-quality green space within 15 minutes of home. Locally, population growth puts green space at risk, while increasing the need for more people to experience nature. Amid nature loss, climate change and public health crises, it’s vital people can connect with nature first-hand, to inspire positive change for people and planet.

We help people connect with nature through special green spaces, like Wittenham Clumps. We care for 500 hectares of land and 7 community nature reserves, offering opportunities for people to explore, learn, and engage with nature. By creating spaces that promote wellbeing and inspire environmental stewardship, we empower communities to protect the environment and tackle challenges like biodiversity loss, climate change, and health.
