Right now, young people are struggling. Anxiety, loneliness and mental health challenges are on the rise. Add the cost of living, widespread food poverty and challenging experiences within the online world and it all adds up to life being really tough for young people. The Rainbow School of Performing Arts builds and improves young people's health and wellbeing, and our workshops, performances and outreach activities increase young people's creative expression.

Rainbow offers a safe space which keeps young people engaged outside school time. It provides a platform to showcase work and a place to come together in a positive way to focus on building new skills, improving resilience and having fun. Rainbow actively targets young people who traditionally would not have access to the arts. We work to keep our classes free wherever possible and are proud to work with a diverse range of young people from all backgrounds across Northern Ireland.
