Help us nurture future electronic music talent like Delia Derbyshire in our 10th year. We inspire and empower via the archive and pioneering work of the original Doctor Who theme producer. We'll consult with 10 primary schools in Manchester, produce a needs analysis report and respond with music projects.

Crisis of inequalities in music education, electronic music and creative industries, evidenced by reports: "There's a £160m black hole in music education budget in England" (Demos, 2025); 8% working class participation and "domination of the creative industries by the better off" (Sutton Trust, 2024); 5% recognised electronic music producers are female (Prof S Warren); 89% female black creators report barriers to progression (Black Lives in Music, 2021).

Delia consistently inspires. Delia identified as a working class girl, so is a brilliant STEM role model for girls and others facing barriers. Plus electronic music is everywhere! We work in schools with deprivation indicators, building competence & confidence in composition and audio engineering before high school. We design and deliver fun workshops with professional electronic artists. Classroom work allows all kids to shine & thrive, developing musical and other key skills eg. literacy and teamwork.
