Our local communities are facing multiple, interconnected challenges, including food and fuel poverty, weak support systems, and social isolation. Seven of our local neighbourhoods rank among the 20% most deprived nationally, with child poverty rates as high as 39%. Many young people cannot access arts and creative opportunities, and over half of those we support have learning or physical disabilities, are neurodiverse, or struggle with mental health issues, leaving them further isolated.

We remove barriers to arts and creativity by providing free creative programmes and safe, warm spaces where everyone is welcomed equally. Our programmes foster community, amplify diverse voices, and help young people build skills, confidence, and resilience. Visitors of all ages can enjoy free creative activities and wellbeing support at our drop-in Welcome Space. Our multigenerational lunches and events include arts-based activities, bringing communities together to combat social isolation.
