At a young age, creative and cultural experiences can be pivotal and transformational. Yet, due to cost and other barriers, too many young people are not accessing these opportunities outside of school. The National Saturday Club believes it is a fundamental right of all young people to engage with culture and creativity in their local communities, and to benefit from the positive skill-development, confidence-building and progression pathways this can provide.

Saturday Clubs provide 13–16-year-olds with free, year-long, extracurricular programmes across eight subjects. Delivered in partnership with expert tutors at universities, colleges, and cultural institutions nationwide, this tried-and-tested model includes weekly classes, industry Masterclasses, cultural visits, a Summer Show and Graduation Ceremonies. These enriching experiences build social, emotional and academic skills, illuminating clear pathways to further study and future careers.
