Situation
The problem is people feeling isolated, overlooked and set apart from mainstream life. We work with people who are viewed as being on the fringes of society and who are written off by many. There is a lack of support & social services that are bespoke to the specific needs of the groups we work with so there is very little help to change negative cycles of behaviour and support people’s mental health providing opportunities to feel more positive and empowered to improve their life chances.
Solution
We solve the problem by offering a bespoke programme of creative workshops and activities to support participants to make friends, have fun and achieve in a way that is appropriate to their individual circumstances. Weekly theatre workshops led by experienced facilitators help participants to learn important life skills and feel better about themselves celebrating achievements and personal milestones along the way so they feel part of, and become, valued members of the community.
