The mental health of young people is in crisis. Amid the continuing impacts of the global pandemic, cultural shifts, and international political and environmental instability; youth mental health challenges are accelerating to record levels and negatively impacting young lives at crucial moments of transition. Young people who are already at risk of or are experiencing marginalisation are disproportionately affected: this crisis is intensifying need and exacerbating inequalities.

NYT culture is inclusive, creative & collaborative. We celebrate all the ways we are different & aim to create an environment where everyone can thrive and do their best work. We create spaces where young people can be together, be brave and create bold work, made richer and stronger thanks to the different backgrounds and experiences that every young person brings. We ask everyone involved in making each project to approach it with generosity, curiosity, kindness, and respect.
