Climate change, pollution & biodiversity loss are being experienced on a local level. The impact on local habitats and human health in local communities have led to an increase in queries to The Environment Centre for more information and advice around local environmental issues, to provide support to individuals and groups and work with them to find green solutions. It’s clear that people know they need to take action, and care about environmental issues, but don’t always know where to start.

By taking worthwhile, inclusive and supportive action leading to positive outcomes for individuals & the environment. We'll engage and involve people in action on recycling, reuse and repair, enhancing green spaces and biodiversity, improving skills, volunteer opportunities, and information and network events. Our action supports individuals’ needs to develop, encourages community cohesion, brings together local groups and provides opportunities that support wider well-being and the environment.
