The majority of our participants have experienced extreme trauma. Trauma diminishes people’s ability to imagine and creates blocks to envisioning positive futures for themselves and moving beyond their experiences. Leads to marginalisation, isolation, anxiety, and a myriad of social barriers which can exacerbate these issues. A quote from a participants - "Refugees are treated like sheep in this country, but you treat us like real people and that means a lot.”

We focus on the change that creativity can make to a person’s imagination and seeks to aid social cohesion, reflection and harmony through this change. Drama games promotes teamwork, playfulness, storytelling and a sense of community. Creative writing, spoken word and poetry, ignite the imagination, creative expression and improves English for those where it is not their first language. Communal singing creates connection and joy in the participants.
