    Music has the power to change lives by improving well being and mental health. Some children and young people have limited access to music in their education. Cambridge Summer Music festival offers unique experiences to young people by providing opportunities to: - to perform in prestigious venues for paying audiences - to take part in workshops and masterclasses for singers, composers and pianists led by industry professionals - by offering half price tickets to young people

    - Provide a month of cultural events throughout the city and in a wide ranging set of venues (in 2024, 30 events); - Offer free open air concerts every week in July, very popular with family audiences; - Offer performing opportunities to young people, from school age to the emerging talent of the next generation of professional musicians; - Offer young musicians and composers masterclasses and workshops.
