With youth provision declining, many are forced to hang out on the streets, increasing the risk of trouble and isolation. We create a safe space using music to build confidence, improve mental well-being and develop essential skills for brighter futures. Join us in making a lasting difference.

Everyone loves music! But young people from challenging circumstances in Gloucestershire face huge inequalities in access to music education and progression into a creative career. According to Youth Music, only 58% of young people feel supported in making music, with the figure dropping for those facing poverty, disability, or isolation. These young people also face huge inequalities in accessing opportunities, and are half as likely to secure paid work in the creative industries.

We use music as a tool to change young people’s lives. We provide accessible music programmes, focusing on those with the highest need. We offer a range of programmes to do this, with the “how” we deliver, just as important as “what” we deliver. We create a safe and inclusive space for young people to express themselves, develop confidence and self-belief, and build social connections. Our leaders are strong role models, often with lived experience of challenging circumstances.
