Brent is one of the UK’s least culturally invested-in areas. With 1 in 3 residents living in poverty, many are priced out of high-quality art and culture. The Kilburn High Road Project is here to change that. Our wonderfully diverse home borough (over 150 languages are spoken in Brent + 65% of residents are from the Global Majority) holds incredible untold stories. This project will amplify those voices, connect residents with world-class artists, and empower locals to celebrate their heritage.

Kiln Theatre is the cultural hub of North West London. Our project will showcase untold stories from Kilburn’s diverse communities, allowing locals to celebrate who they are at a nationally renowned theatre. Over two years, we’ll engage 4,000 people as participants and audience members, connecting locals with world-class artists and offering inspiring cultural experiences for those often excluded from the arts. It's time to celebrate the people, cultures, and stories that make Kilburn unique!
