APRS have been working to support campaigners who are fighting unsustainable development in their communities for decades but as a tiny organisation our capacity is limited and we currently have a specialist working only one day a week on this work. We are receiving an unprecedented level of requests from communities and individuals unable to navigate complex planning processes where they have no skills or expertise.

We are seeking support to extend our work, through advice, training, events and creating guidance on engaging with the planning system. It is extremely challenging for individuals and communities to understand and have a voice in, especially those in more deprived areas. We know from previous work that the right support at the right time empowers leadership within communities, giving them a voice for their future and helping protect greenspaces for people, nature and the climate.
