Young people today face growing challenges such as mental health issues, unhealthy relationships and serious violence. Without intervention or education, these issues can lead to marginalisation and lost potential. Aspiring Learning Disabled actors and young people from working-class backgrounds face barriers to arts training, limiting opportunities and career prospects. Without support, cycles of disadvantage persist, reducing diversity in the arts and denying young people the chance to thrive.

Peer Productions creates and delivers powerful educational theatre to schools and communities, addressing critical issues facing young people. Through relatable stories and characters, we raise awareness, challenge stigmas, and promote positive choices. Our free actor training empowers Learning Disabled and working-class young actors with skills to create and perform impactful work. This peer-education approach fosters personal growth, professional development, and inspires positive change.
