Company Three is an award-winning performing arts charity whose work gives a diverse group of teenagers the power to tell their own stories. We do this through the transformational medium of theatre as a means for young people to express themselves.

Teenagers in 2025 face immense pressure and anxiety in the face of an ever changing world: the cost of living, the advent of AI, and concerns about what their future will look like. On top of this, there are increasingly fewer opportunities for creative expression; drama departments are closing in schools due to shrinking budgets, youth centres are disappearing and there are fewer safe spaces for them to explore identity, build confidence and engage in social change.

Company Three is a youth theatre that works long-term with a core company of 95 teenagers from Islington. We run weekly sessions, co-devising five new plays each year led by the ideas of our members. We create films and podcasts, go on theatre trips, plus an annual week-long residential. We create a space for radical art and social change, a place to listen to and value young people, building resilience, confidence and community - empowering them to create and define their own futures.
