We’re addressing the isolation faced by people in quasi-detention, who often miss out on life’s joyful moments—like birthdays and family celebrations—due to separation from loved ones. This lack of connection erodes their sense of belonging and emotional well-being. Our work includes music and creative workshops which aim to restore 'missed moments' by offering a space for community, celebration, and togetherness, helping people feel seen, valued, and connected even in challenging circumstances.
Solution
Hear Me Out provides music and creative workshops for people in quasi-detention, creating moments of connection and joy that help individuals feel seen and valued. Funds raised support these workshops and our broader work, fostering community and transforming isolation into shared celebration and human connection.
