All young people should have the opportunity to express themselves and be creative. When young people are inspired and given the space to make their voices heard, it can be transformative. East London is vibrant and diverse, but there are barriers that make accessing creative opportunities unequal - with many young people in our communities missing out. We know there is no limit to the potential of our young people and we exist to ensure that none of them miss out.

We run free creative writing workshops for young people aged 6-15, in schools and at our writing centre in east London. Young people explore their ideas and imaginations with the support of professional writers and our volunteer writing mentors. They meet new friends, write brand new stories and poems and eat a lot of breadsticks. Through our workshops young people grow in confidence and courage, feel more positive about themselves and become better writers and speakers.
