Situation
Artsreach is vital in meeting the cultural needs of rural communities across Dorset, supporting the personal, social and emotional wellbeing of a diverse range of residents of all ages. Through creative and cultural activity, Artsreach aims to support health and wellbeing of Dorset residents and address issues such as rural and social isolation by developing skills and providing the opportunity to participate in and engage with cultural activity in the heart of rural communities.
Solution
Artsreach will: - empower community volunteers to present cultural activities in rural spaces; - present a diverse range of high-quality cultural activities; - stimulate community development through engagement with cultural activities and support vital community resources such as village halls; - support a diverse range of artists and provide opportunities for artist's development; - work in partnership with others to develop a thriving cultural offer across rural Dorset.
