Unequal access to cultural education opportunities for CYP in Cambridgeshire. We work in deprived areas of Cambridge (the UK’s most unequal city) & rural Fenland with children experiencing serious financial & social barriers to accessing creative & Cultural opportunities. These children were worst affected by the pandemic & now their families face a cost of living crisis-our teachers network reports that the challenges faced, both academically & emotionally for CYP & families continue to grow.

We will provide access to meaningful cultural activities for CYP who face poverty of opportunity & take creative learning opportunities to CYP in their school/communities, providing workshops, storytelling, co-creation & performance opportunities. Using workshops with the children to develop bespoke productions for schools and the wider community (featuring a cast of professional actor-musicians).Through our work in schools & community, we help CYP build skills, confidence & improve resilience.
