Situation
Children in the Global South face immense barriers to education, from poverty to early marriage, preventing them from reaching their full potential. High School completion rates for the poorest communities are just 3% in Zambia, 13% in India and 10% in Nepal (UNESCO UIS 2019z). Inadequate education perpetuates underemployment and intergenerational poverty. It excludes children from contributing to the formal economy, the development of their nations and from becoming global citizens.
Solution
We are creating a trail-blazing group of pioneers inspiring those in their communities to value education. Recognising the uniqueness of every child's fullest potential, we educate beyond the classroom to develop future-oriented vocational skills & nurture emotional, social & mental well-being. The Pestalozzi approach provides for a future generation of compassionate global citizens equipped with the ‘Head, Heart & Hands’ to define their lives according to their potential, not their backgrounds
