Winter for some can be isolating; shorter days, colder temperatures, a decline in creative activities for adults and increasing feelings of loneliness. It can be a particularly challenging time for marginalised communities, people experiencing homelessness or people who cannot afford to take part in Oxford's festive offer.

Bright Nights will offer a place for warmth, community, fun, something different to the usual festive fare, or just a hot drink when it’s needed. It will lift our spirits through the gloom of winter and remind us that inclusive spaces and cultural activities are vital to nurturing connected communities in the long-term. It will offer an alternative to the pantomimes and Santa's grottos, something different, affordable and above all inclusive of our entire community.
