There is a lack of awareness of local food traditions that make use of local and seasonal produce and other sustainable eating habits.

We will run a series of interactive cooking workshops, demonstrations and Christmas activities to educate locals and visitors about our Gower Christmas food traditions such as Pwdin Nadolig Gwyr (Gower Christmas Pudding), Bara Nadolig Gwyr (Gower Christmas Bread) and the Souly Doll. We will focus on promoting local produce (e.g. flour ground on our 12th century watermill, locally grown herbs & vegetables), food businesses and education about the importance of this for local sustainability.
