Chichester City Centre Drop In (better known as The Bell Tower) has supported young people for the last 10 years by providing a safe, warm and homely place to come afterschool. Help us make sure we can support young people for the next 10 years and beyond!

Young people in Chichester face unprecedented challenges. Despite its affluence, Chichester has areas of high need, with five neighbourhoods among the highest 40% in England for income deprivation affecting children, and one in the highest 10%. Many young people experience loneliness, isolation, and have nowhere to go after school, often returning to cold, empty homes or turning to antisocial behaviour. Without adequate support, their future prospects are bleak.

We provide a welcoming, and inclusive space for young people in Chichester to attend after school, where they can socialise, develop new skills, and take part in off-shoot groups and activities co-designed by them. Through positive influence and interaction, we help them navigate the challenges of life as a young person, preventing them from participating in anti-social behaviour and enabling them to thrive. We are the only provision open 5 days a week for young people in Chichester.
