For young musicians having attended music college there is a lack of opportunity to continue to grow and develop their skills in an orchestral setting if they are not yet able to secure a place in a professional orchestra.
Orion Symphony Orchestra provides an opportunity for Orchestral performance to professional standards for young musicians who might not otherwise obtain a place in an orchestra. The Orchestra is lead by artistic directors who are experienced professionals who will develop young musician to perform at the level that is required in professional orchestras. Often more rehearsal time might be provided. Experiences included performing annually at the Marylebone Music Festival and at Noisy Notes
