With 2.6 million current, retired, and reservist members of the Armed Forces, mental health challenges are prevalent: • 1 in 8 service personnel seek help from their GP for mental health issues • 20% of combatants from Iraq and Afghanistan tours have probable PTSD • 85% of veterans feel ashamed of their mental health diagnosis Despite stark statistics, many veterans are reluctant to seek help due to stigma, lack of access to appropriate care, and long wait times for NHS mental health services.

Our mission is to improve the quality of life for veterans living with mental health disorders through the support and companionship of our specially trained assistance dogs. We provide training, education, and support services directly to our beneficiaries, adopting a flexible approach to meet the complex needs of our veterans.
