Situation
Since its inception in 2018, PANS PANDAS UK has worked hard to educate health, education, and social care professionals about these conditions PANS and PANDAS. There is still a long way to go. We know that our community wants more opportunities to come together, for support and advice. We also know that there is a need for medical professionals to share the latest research findings, regarding identification, diagnosis, and treatment of these conditions.
Solution
Our National UK Conferences will: Connect international experts in PANS and PANDAS to share the latest research findings and the newly published guidelines. Bring our community together with other people experiencing similar things. In workshops to help them manage these conditions at home, and how to navigate the systems to best support their child, themselves, and their wider family. Provide our community the opportunity to meet with and ask questions of the experts.
