Homelessness has hit a record high in London, while Spires is seeing more people turn to us for help. We’re raising money to support the rising numbers of people experiencing poverty or homelessness in south London. The more money we raise the more people we can get off the streets & into housing.

Spires are seeing more homeless & disadvantaged people approach us for help. In 2023, we had over 800 people attend our services. Homelessness has recently hit a record high in London, with over 12,000 rough sleepers - a rise of 19% from the year before. Lambeth, where we’re mainly based, has the 4th highest recorded number of people homeless. Spires helps people in their time of need & helps reduce the number of people sleeping rough or people at risk of homelessness in our local communities.

We empower homeless adults to source and maintain secure and appropriate accommodation whilst tackling the root causes of their homelessness. Our key workers work with clients to create individual support plans which address underlying support needs and help resolve their homelessness. The team consistently support people to: Access mental health services | Work with drug and alcohol support services | Obtain training or qualifications | Obtain or maintain benefits | Maintain personal safety.
