Primary school can be a stressful place, especially if you find the work hard, or you've got other things going on at home. Our projects give children a huge range of new skills to be good at, and reasons to believe in themselves. This Christmas, can you create that confidence for a child?

Situation
Mental health challenges among children are at an all-time high, particularly among children facing extra challenges and disadvantaged in their lives. These children need to build their confidence and help them engage with education. Without help, they risk falling behind for life, missing out on fulfilling their potential.
Solution
Through our puppetry projects, disadvantaged children aged 9-11 develop creative and life skills which help them thrive despite the challenges they face. The children work together to create a complex marionette show from scratch, taking ownership of the production at every stage. While building puppets and sets, they also build concentration and teamwork skills and gain independence, self-confidence and resilience. They learn that they can achieve more than even they thought possible.
