Kids Inspire is a children’s mental health charity. Through our Christmas Appeal, we source, wrap, and deliver gifts and hampers to children and families in need. Supported by community donations, volunteers, and organisations, we ensure those who might not receive anything still get festive gifts.

Situation
Kids Inspire addresses the mental health and well-being of children, young people and their families. Especially during Christmas, many families face severe financial difficulties, recent traumas and mental health challenges, leaving them unable to provide a festive experience for their children. This, coupled with the cost-of living crisis, means many children go without gifts at Christmas. The Christmas Appeal ensures vulnerable children experience joy during the festive period.
Solution
Through Kids Inspire's Christmas Appeal, we will source, wrap, and deliver gifts and food hampers to referred families across Essex. Recipients aged 0-18 are nominated by Social Workers, Children’s Centres, our clinical therapy team, schools, and other child-focused organisations. These gifts and hampers bring festive joy to those in need, alleviating the additional financial and mental stresses experienced by disadvantaged families during Christmas.
