A cancer diagnosis in a parent or child brings a tidal wave of challenges: work stops, mental health & finances suffer, and even everyday chores become overwhelming. Wolo’s founders experienced these problems on their own cancer journey, alongside: -lack of mental health support & practical help -feelings of isolation -long waits for appointments -no support once treatment is completed -slow responses from larger charities. Rising food & energy costs mean families really need our help.

Wolo provides services & support for the whole family, not just the person with cancer. Wolo helps by: Arranging/paying for therapies to ease treatment side effects, help people relax & gain a positive mindset 6-week wellness course, addressing cancer-related difficulties & trauma Free family events Weekly social walking/running/yoga/gym groups Purchasing/sourcing equipment needed to improve quality of life Organising/covering costs for cleaners, home maintenance & other bespoke requests
