Every day Gaza’s children wake up to a world of destruction, violence & hunger. Constant fear & anxiety leaves many wishing they weren't alive dead. Help us change this. Our art and play projects bring them hope in the darkness, remind them what childhood is, and help them rebuild a desire to live.

The conflict in Gaza is taking a catastrophic toll on children in Gaza. They’ve witnessed destruction and death on a mass scale; they’ve lost homes, parents and loved ones; they’ve suffered abduction, serious injury and amputation. The intensity and duration of the violence is creating severe psychological trauma, which shows up in anxiety, nightmares, insomnia and a pervasive sense of hopelessness. In addition, they are losing critical years of education. The impact will last a lifetime.

Trauma support is crucial for children and key to rebuilding Gaza. With your help we’ll provide them therapeutic activities such as reflection, listening circles and art therapy, and remind them of the fun of childhood through play, music and clowns. This will help them process their trauma and inject a sense of hope for the future. We’ll of course adapt our approach in line with changes in children’s needs over time, including if a ceasefire is agreed.
