At MYZ we want to ensure every family that we work with has a positive Christmas. We will provide gifts to all of our young people, put on a Big Christmas Dinner, festive trips, and provide care packages to those in need, so our children get the Christmas that they deserve- and we need your help.

Situation
Harpurhey is the second most deprived ward in the UK, and 90% of our members live within the first and second indices of poverty. For many of the children and families that we work with, Christmas can be a really difficult time, and no child deserves to spend Christmas anxious and going without, nor does any parent deserve to see their child upset that Santa hasn't come for them. With the extra financial burdens, and rising heating bills, the Winter can be an incredibly hard time for many.
Solution
We will provide every young person that comes through our doors with a gift, take them on festive trips, like ice skating and going to the panto, working together with the families to create that time and space to share joy, enjoy a delicious Christmas Meal, and share the magic of Christmas together! We will also provide care packages, and Christmas Hampers to families in need, as well as electricity vouchers and shopping vouchers, and we will serve a Christmas Dinner for the families and kids.
