We are raising the funds to support the running of Cross Rhythms Plymouth a local community radio station. We must raise enough to cover our core running costs to enable us to broadcast on 96.3 FM and on DAB+ for the next 12 months.

Situation
Plymouth has some of the most deprived wards in the country and there are many suffering from mental health issues and their emotional, mental and spiritual well being are low. Many have a lack of connectivity to the community, suffer from social isolation and loneliness is also rife. There is a section of the population who for whatever reason will not look to the church for their Spiritual issues, but are seeking spiritual support to help with their issues.
Solution
Radio is seen as a major comforter to those who listen in their home or car. We broadcast uplifting and affirming Christian spiritual radio content as well as community focused content, highlighting groups and events that local people can be part of. Our interviews with community groups, local Citizen Advice and many charities that act as a support in the local community all contribute to help improve their well being and increase community connection and social cohesion.
