This Christmas, help Wise Children bring world-class theatre to Somerset. One of the UK's most loved theatre companies, Wise Children, performs across the globe but our heart remains in the South West. Support us in bringing our celebrated family show, The Little Match Girl, home this Winter.

Wise Children’s work is of the highest quality, created and delivered by award winning professionals at the top of their game. This work is made at our base in Somerset, but is rarely seen there - as only established theatres in big cities can afford to stage our shows. This means our local, rural communities are missing out on the life-changing productions being made in their midst, and the transformative power that theatre can bring.
Solution
Our base, The Lucky Chance in Frome, is just big enough to stage our beloved Christmas show The Little Match Girl. We want to perform the show there this Christmas, throwing the doors open to our neighbours and welcoming them in to see the magic we create inside. Our ticket prices will be low, so cost is never a barrier to entry, and we’ll offer free tickets to every Year 4 child in Frome. We need to fundraise to close the gap between what the run will cost, and what we can raise in ticket sales
