We are here to support nurses and midwives when they need us the most. In our 90th Anniversary year, help the Florence Nightingale Foundation reach more nurses and midwives by delivering psychological safety and support sessions to those on the frontline of healthcare.

In 2024, research commissioned by the Economic and Research Council shows rising reports of psychological stress and symptoms of burnout among nurses and midwives up and down the country. It is essential that we support the people who care for us and our loved ones at life's most important moments - supporting them to support patients, people and communities right across the UK.

By participating in these sessions, nurses and midwives will develop the knowledge, skills and confidence to go on to lead supportive sessions in their workplaces, using a problem solving approach. We aim to directly reach between 75-100 nurses and midwives in hospitals, care settings and homes right across the UK - and by creating a ripple-effect, our support will reach many more nurses and midwives, thus improving health outcomes for the patients currently in their care.
