In recent years, Cambridge had seen a significant increase in homelessness, with annual snapshot statistics showing an increase of 64% between 2021 and 2022, much higher than the national increase of 26%, and nearly four times the level first recorded in Cambridge in 2010. The cost of living crisis and rising rents are pushing even more people towards homelessness, unable to afford the increased costs of heating and food, and unable to secure a tenancy in the private rental market.

We offer supported accommodation for 100 people in Cambridge at risk of or experiencing homelessness. We also offer 1:1 mental health support; help into employment and training; an Older Homeless Service supporting vulnerably housed people aged 45+; and an Allotment Community where residents learn skills and socialise in a safe, therapeutic environment. Through a person-centred, tiered pathway of support, we empower residents to fulfil their potential, no matter their background or past.
