In the midst of every crisis is a child’s urgent need for play. More children than ever before are living in crisis. 43.3m children live in forced displacement, with 60% displaced from their homes by conflict and violence. Conflict and extreme weather events have immeasurable effects on children and their families. They disrupt and disturb childhood experiences, strip children of their rights, and limit opportunities to learn, recover and flourish through play.
